What is it all about?
libevdev is a wrapper library for evdev devices. it moves the common tasks when dealing with evdev devices into a library and provides a library interface to the callers, thus avoiding erroneous ioctls, etc..
Key Features
* libevdev provides an interface for handling events, including most notably SYN_DROPPED events. SYN_DROPPED events are sent by the kernel when the process does not read events fast enough and the kernel is forced to drop some events. * libevdev is signal-safe for the majority of its operations, i.e. many of its functions are safe to be called from within a signal handler.
