Features * BigWorld Technology comes with examples of art content needed for a game, so you should be able to create at least a rough demo of your game. You will need additional art content to finish your game. You can purchase art from various sources, but you will still need access to 3ds Max or Maya to export models and animations.
* Scenery in a BigWorld Technology game is comprised of terrain which is generated using the provided World Editor (although we do support importing height maps), and objects placed on the terrain. The objects placed on the terrain can be created with Max, Maya or any tool that can write a Collada file.
* You can create your own characters and landscapes, and we strongly encourage you to do so. Your characters can be completely controlled in whatever way you like using your own animations and via Python programming. In terms of POV we provide multiple cameras that have adjustable parameters, suitable for first person shooters or RPG games.
